Good foiling session in a very patchy wind. Was promised max of 15-20 knots and was about 5-15 when I arrived at the beach so went with the small slalom wing hoping for the best. Then the wind dropped and kept dropping so I swapped foils from 700 then 800 and skipped the next to go straight for max power with 1000. All was fine until it wasn’t. The universal joint broke enduring the session just as the 15 knot section of wind ended. No damage to the rough and tough FMX! 7.0 was probably too little sail but worked well enough all day.
